Eligibility Criteria Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Recruitment 


Citizenship : 

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.

(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purposes/ Voter ID/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate as a proof of residency along with the application.


Age Limit: Candidate age should not be less than 21 years and not more than 38 years of age as on 01/01/2022


Age Relaxation: Upper age limit is relaxable:

  • Up to 5 years i.e. up to 43 years for SC/ ST candidates.
  • Up to 3 years i.e. up to 41 years for OBC/ MOBC candidates.
  • Up to 10 years for Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PWBD). However, candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes and Other Backward Classes (Non-Creamy Layer) who fall under the 'Persons with Benchmark Disabilities' category will be eligible for cumulative age relaxation under both their respective categories.



Educational Qualification : Candidates must have a Degree in Bachelor of Animal Husbandry & Veterinary Science (B.V.Sc & A.H) From any recognized University.
