Name of Post: Veterinary Field Assistant (VFA)

No of Posts: 78 

Educational Qualification: A candidate have to pass HSSLC (Science) with Biology as one of the subject and also have to complete the one year certificate course in elementary knowledge of Veterinary Science from the recognized School of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry established by the Government of Assam at Ghungoor, Silchar. 

Physical Standard: A candidate for direct recruitment to the cadre of VFA shall be sound healthy both mentally and physically and free from any organic effect of body infirmity likely to interfere with efficient performance of his/her duties and require to undergo medical examination before appointment to the service. 

Pay Scale: Pay Band of Rs.14,000/- to Rs.60,500/- plus Grade Pay of Rs.6,200/- with other allowances as admissible from time to time. 

Other Details of BTR Recruitment Domicile: 

Candidates must need to be a domiciled of BTR area. 

Age Limit:  18 years to 40 years .

Age Relaxation: For applicable categories, upper age relaxation will be as follows.
