1. Senior Information & Public Relations Officer

Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- GP: Rs. 13,900/-

Educational Qualification: 


i. A graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university only will be acceptable (Professional/Technical Degrees allowed).
ii. A degree/diploma in Journalism or in Mass Communication from an Institute recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC) or at least five years' experience in Journalism in a responsible capacity in a Newspaper/News/Public Relations Organization/ Government Public Relations Department.
iii. A good command over English.
iv. Knowledge of Assamese or any other regional language or local language of the state.
v. Knowledge of Computer Application. The candidates must possess a minimum 6 (six) months Diploma/Certificate in computer proficiency from a Govt recognized institute.

2. Junior Information & Public Relations Officer

No of posts: 6 posts

STP: 1
STH: 1

Scale of Pay: Rs. 30,000/- to 1,10,000/- GP: Rs. 12,700/-

Educational Qualification:  

i. A graduate in Science/Arts/Commerce from a recognized university only will be acceptable (Professional/Technical Degrees allowed).

 Citizenship: Candidates must be Indian Citizens as defined in Articles 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India.

Residentship:

(i) The candidate must be a permanent resident of Assam.
(ii) The candidate must produce PRC issued in Assam for educational purpose/ Employment Exchange Registration certificate / Voter ID card of the candidate or his/her parents will be treated as proof of residency along with the application form.
